Manufacturing & Delivery Timelines

Our manufacturing and delivery times typically range from 1 to 8 weeks, depending on the product you've ordered, our current workload, and any unforeseen delays. We always strive to be as transparent as possible, so if there are any delays, we’ll keep you informed. As a small business, we get extremely busy, particularly during the last quarter of the year around Black Friday and Christmas, so we appreciate your patience.

If you have a time-sensitive order, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll let you know our current timeline for your specific product. Likewise, if you’d like an update on an existing order, just drop us a message—we’re happy to keep you informed.

Please keep in mind that we are developing customised products just for you—this includes sourcing packaging, designing labels, and ordering ingredients from multiple suppliers. These steps take time, and we won’t rush the process, as we want to ensure the highest quality for your brand. Because of this, we strongly recommend not booking photoshoots or pre-selling your products until they are physically in your hands, as there are many variables in the production process.

Label Peeling 

We provide detailed instructions on how to label the cuticle pens when you receive them. It can be a bit tricky to label them correctly, so it's important to take your time with each label to prevent peeling. Please note that we do not offer refunds for peeling labels as we have extensively tested and found that they work well when applied properly. Factors such as colder weather, cold hands, and cold cuticle pens can contribute to label peeling in fact we barely have anyone mention label peeling in the summer months! Also ensure there is no oil on your fingers or on the pens pens. We recommend cleaning them with alcohol before applying the labels. If you prefer, you can use our labelling service and we will label them for you. 

Discount Codes

We occasionally run discount codes and offers, please note we will note refund any previous order placed in the days  leading up to the use of a code, otherwise we will not be able to do any flash discounts

Refunding or cancelling private label products 

We are creating a custom product for you, under your branding. We cannot refund customised orders. Please ensure you are happy with this before ordering with us. If you are particular about fragrances and smells then please order samples to make sure that you will be happy with the smell. If you do have any concerns about your order please get in touch. 

You can cancel your order up to a certain point. If we have ordered legal documents for you this cannot be refunded. If you have approved your art work and it is with out printing company then it is too late for us to cancel your order. 

Raw Ingredients / Product variations

We use natural oils, butters, waxes and other raw ingredients. These ingredients always vary in texture, smell, colour. Even the time of year can dramatically change the products texture (thinner in summer, thicker in winter) we always recommend storing your products in a cool dry place to keep them at their best.

Please understand the products are hand made and as much as we try and ensure your products are the same every time they can slightly vary in smell, scent and texture for various reasons despite us following the same exact recipe each time. If you strongly think something is not right with your product of course let us know and we can look into it for you. 

Fragrances 

-Our fragrances are an interpretation of a scent they can vary a lot and certain ingredients we mix them with will also change the overall scent of product. If you are very particular on scents then I advise you to order samples or let me know that you are very particular on it smelling a certain way so I can let you know if this is possible. 

- Fragrances vary from supplier we use the same suppliers as often as possible but there are times when a brand may discontinue or change a fragrance and also times when we may decided to change suppliers. 

-The cuticle balms, creams and gels are a slightly more subtle scent as they carry fragrance differently to a pure oil. 

• We use the maximum amount of fragrance that we are legally allowed to keep the product safe for daily use to prevent nail irritation and allergies. 
• Fragrances vary in strength and power. Despite us using the same amount of fragrance some fragrances are a lot stronger than others. Vanilla for example is a beautiful scent but more on the subtle side compared to say Snowfairy which is a lot stronger. If this is a concern of yours please get in touch and we can discuss this  
• All the fragrances we use are vegan friendly , Nut free, never tested on animals and are IFRA and EU Compliant. 

Samples 

Our samples are provided in small tins for testing purposes and do not reflect the final packaging of your product. These samples allow you to experience the texture and scent of our formulas before committing to a full production run.

In some cases, we may send you a base formula with the fragrance separately. This is because certain products can only be produced in large batches, making it impractical to create a single, customised sample. For example, balms require multiple ingredients to be melted and blended together, meaning we can’t make them individually. If you request a balm sample, we will send you a pre-made sample to demonstrate the texture, along with a separate fragrance or flavour oil. This allows you to get a clear idea of how the final product will smell and feel once your chosen fragrance is blended into the full batch.

Seasonal Ordering 

Halloween-themed pens, Black Friday, and Christmas mark the busiest time of the year—not just for you, but for us too! Our workload increases significantly from late summer onwards, so to secure your seasonal stock, we highly recommend placing your orders as early as possible—ideally by late July. This ensures we have everything in place for your busiest and most profitable months.

If you’re hesitant about ordering seasonal products, don’t be—these key retail periods come around fast every year, and well-prepared businesses see the benefits. Plus, we’ll store your label designs for future years, making it easy to reorder when the season rolls back around. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to maximise your sales during these crucial months!

Each private label customer is assigned a direct contact number and will be in touch with either myself (Gemma) or a member of my team. We maintain a casual yet professional approach, often working flexible hours to accommodate different needs. Many of our clients have become friends over time, and we genuinely enjoy building long-term relationships.

However, it’s important to establish mutual respect and professionalism. While you are investing in our services, we see this as a partnership, not a traditional employer-employee dynamic. If concerns arise, we are always open to discussing them and finding solutions in a respectful and constructive manner. Any form of rudeness or disrespect towards myself or my team will not be tolerated, and if necessary, we reserve the right to discontinue the working relationship.

Labels 

Your labels will have our post code on as the manufacturer and Responsible Person. We pop it in a small corner of the label but it has to be on there. It will state as shown “ Made in the UK for (your business name) by Witches lab Professional AL71EN”  If you do not want this on there then you can take on the responsible person role but this will mean you need to do some extra work and pay extra monies for the CPSR’S , Declarations and CPNP registrations. We can do this for you just ask us for more info on this.
